Refund Policy

Introduction

Maggapath is operated by Chinthaka Thiyambarawatte. We are committed to delivering reports of the highest quality and stand behind the value of our discovery reports with a clear, fair, and Paddle-aligned refund policy.

1. Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you read your child's completed discovery report and genuinely feel it does not reflect who your child is, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of your order date. No complicated qualifiers. We are confident in what we deliver because every report is written specifically about your child based on their unique assessment conversation.

2. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if you request it within 30 days of your order date. Refunds for orders placed by credit or debit card are processed by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle, which manages the original transaction. Local Sri Lankan payments made via bank transfer or PayHere are refunded directly by Maggapath through the same channel.

3. How to Request a Refund

For card payments processed by Paddle, visit paddle.net to look up your transaction (you can use the email address on your Paddle receipt) and submit a refund request directly to Paddle. You may also contact us at maggapath26@gmail.com or via WhatsApp at +94 72 829 3580 with your full name, your child's name, your assessment reference number (format MG-XXXXXX), and a brief note, and we will help coordinate the refund with Paddle on your behalf. We respond within 24 hours; approved refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days.

4. Refund Method

Refunds are returned via the same payment method used for the original transaction. Paddle returns card refunds to the original card. Local bank transfer payments are refunded to the originating bank account. PayHere payments are refunded through PayHere back to the original card or account.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued if the refund request is made more than 30 days after the order date; if the payment was made fraudulently or under false pretenses; or where prohibited by applicable law. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us or Paddle may delay resolution.

6. Partial Completion

If a family begins the separate mode assessment and only one party completes their assessment, we will still generate and deliver the available report. A partial refund may be considered at our discretion if both parties are genuinely unable to complete the assessment.
