Maggapath, operated by Chinthaka Thiyambarawatte (trading as "Maggapath", "we", "our", "us"), operates maggapath.com and acts as the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform. By using Maggapath you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect the following information when you use Maggapath: student full name, age, grade, and school name; parent or guardian WhatsApp number and email address; assessment conversation data and responses; payment reference information; and device and browser information for security purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to conduct and personalise the child discovery assessment; generate your family's personalised reports; deliver reports to your WhatsApp and email; confirm and process payments; improve our assessment quality and platform; and communicate with you about your assessment and reports.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the assessment and reports you have paid for); your consent (for collection of your child's assessment data, given by you as parent or guardian); legitimate interests (to secure our platform, prevent fraud, and improve our service); and legal obligations (to comply with tax, accounting, and other applicable laws). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though this may prevent us from delivering the service.
4. Information Sharing and Recipients
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with the following categories of recipients: (a) Paddle.com Market Ltd, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes all international card payments and handles billing, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds, and related customer service inquiries on our behalf; (b) local payment processors (PayHere) for Sri Lankan transactions; (c) trusted service providers and subprocessors who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, email delivery, WhatsApp messaging) under contractual confidentiality obligations; (d) professional advisers such as legal and accounting providers; and (e) authorities or regulators where disclosure is required by law or valid legal request. In the event of a business transfer, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
5. Assessment Data
All assessment conversations and report content are treated as strictly confidential. Your child's assessment data is stored securely and is only accessible to authorised Maggapath team members for the purpose of generating your family's reports. We do not use individual assessment data for any purpose other than delivering your reports.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption. However no method of internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your assessment data for 24 months from the date of your assessment. After this period your data is permanently deleted from our systems. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at maggapath26@gmail.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service involves collecting information about minors aged 13 to 16. We only collect this information with the explicit consent of a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us.
9. Your Rights
